2022: Artificial Intelligence Operating Table Launch

On June 13, 2022, GE Healthcare unveiled the Allia operating table for minimally invasive surgery using artificial intelligence-based imaging. According to the manufacturer, this product was the result of his many years of cooperation with surgeons in order to improve the efficiency of the workflow and implement best practices for working with images in everyday practice.

According to the press release, Allia allows users to access all basic features from a personalized workplace with intuitive and compact user interfaces. It has flexibility due to the frame, which is not attached to the floor or ceiling, which provides complete mobility, and also allows you to perform procedures without collision thanks to the design of a C-shaped bracket with a wide angle of inclination.

Allia uses the Edison Digital Health Platform with AutoRight, the industry's first AI-based intervention imaging system, and Liver ASSIST Virtual Parenchyma, an AI-based 3D parenchymography imaging software, which helps physicians dynamically model injections to safely perform liver embolization procedures.

GE Healthcare said that in addition to positive feedback from clinicians since its introduction, the Allia IGS 7 system has been recognized as the winner of the Red Dot Design Award: Product Design 2022. This internationally recognized award represents a mark of good design quality, the company said.
