Avetisyan Armen Vyacheslavovich

Biography

Graduated from the Faculty of Banking of the Russian Economic Academy named after G.V. Plekhanov.

Armen Avetisyan began his career in the IT and telecommunications industry in 2004, heading technical divisions in large telecom and IT companies. I went a long way in MTS. In 2013-2016, he headed the MTS branch in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, since 2016 he worked as Director for Regional Development of MTS. As Vice President for the Internet of Things and Industrial Automation, MTS, which took over in March 2021, has built the MTS business direction in the Internet of Things industry.

2022: General Director of MTS Armenia

The Board of Directors of MTS Armenia CJSC (Viva-MTS), a 100% subsidiary of MTS PJSC in the Republic of Armenia, appointed Armen Avetisyan, who previously held the post of Vice President for Internet of Things and Industrial Automation of MTS PJSC, as General Director of Viva-MTS from June 15, 2022. The company announced this on June 15, 2022.

Former General Director of MTS Armenia Ralph Yirikyan, who headed the company since its founding in 2004 and under whose leadership Viva-MTS became one of the leaders in the telecommunications business in the country, leaves the company to focus on other business projects.
