2022: Conducting joint tests of evacuation drones

Biryuch Innovation Center Ivanovo Fire and Rescue Academy state and MINISTRY OF EMERGENCY SITUATIONS fire services entered into a cooperation agreement. This was announced on June 27, 2022 by the company. Efko

The document refers to joint research and training developments in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles.

The parties came to an agreement on joint tests of evacuation drones, as well as Hi-Fly passenger air taxis. Specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will assess the current level of development of the Biryuch IC, check them on the example of special prototypes when solving various rescue tasks, in different landscapes and weather conditions.

Joint efforts of the parties are supposed to go the way of admitting aircraft to operation for subsequent serial production and use in the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

In addition to the leadership of the university and Hi-Fly developers, representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations attended the tests. In particular - First Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Disaster Management, Colonel-General of the Internal Service Alexander Chupriyan.

The tests simulated a fire emergency. The flight of the Hi-Fly Cargo evacuation drone had to be carried out in unmanned mode, along a given route, overcoming the "water obstacle" and delivering 100 kg of medicines to provide urgent medical care to the "victims." Hi-Fly Cargo fully coped with the task.

The leadership of the university noted the good flight characteristics and low noise level of the device, and also appreciated the high degree of provision with domestic components - more than 70%.

The use of Hi-Fly Cargo is supposed to be used in emergency response - for the delivery of goods, evacuation of victims, extinguishing fires. The device is capable of flying with a range of up to 20 km, develops a speed of up to 100 km/h and carries goods weighing up to 170 kg.

Tests of drones of the Biryuch IC take place on a daily basis, including in unmanned mode - without human participation in controlling the movement of the aircraft during the flight.

Our acquaintance with the Ivanovo Fire and Rescue Academy began in the spring. The faculty of the university praised the technical capabilities of Hi-Fly. The agreements reached will allow the academy to bring to a new level the material and technical base of not only the university, but also the entire Ministry of Emergency Situations. For us, the ministry is the most substantive and professional customer, a source of expertise on the further improvement of the apparatus and the implementation of socially useful tasks, the development of the project. One of our key priorities is to increase the provision of domestic components, up to full self-sufficiency by the end of 2022. We are still open to cooperation with professional domestic teams on the profile of creating unmanned aerial vehicles - their individual elements and not only, "said Yuri Kozarenko, General Director of the Biryuch Innovation Center.
