2018: Pilot to optimize business processes and create a unified system for consolidated reporting

BearingPoint has implemented a pilot project to optimize business processes and create a unified integrated system for consolidating financial, management and budgetary reporting according to IFRS standards based on SAP BPC for ChelPipe Group.

The system was created using SAP BW/4HANA, SAP BO BPC 11, SAP BO Lumira 2.1.

As a result of the project, a unified consolidation system was built, which ensured the acceleration of management processes by increasing the efficiency and accuracy of the reporting provided. A single information space for management, budget and financial reporting now serves as a single source of proven information for management decision-making. Increasing the detail of the information made it possible to introduce new issues of management of stocks and other elements of working capital into regular discussions.

ChelPipe Group's reporting was based on a data model formed on the basis of a single chart of accounts over consolidated data. The unified chart of accounts is developed taking into account the requirements of financial, management reporting of the group of companies and divisions and budgeting of the group of companies.

As an integration tool, a packaged BearingPoint solution was used, adapted for new tools and project needs.
