SAP Lumira

SAP Lumira - SAP Lumira Standard Edition (before SAP Visual Intelligence) - the software of visualization and data management. Allows to analyze data with the help of creation and sharing of graphic data visualization from several sources without writing any code.

2014: Integration of Lumira 1.19 and SAP BusinessObjects 4.1

On September 15, 2014 it became known of integration of visualization tools and researches of data of SAP Lumira 1.19 from flagman BI- the platform SAP BusinessObjects 4.1.

New Lumira interface

This updating is focused on the managers who do not have IT preparation, but, nevertheless, wishing to build and investigate independently in the mode of self-service predictive models, using along with corporate and additional data sets. In particular, the preconfigured BusinessObjects Universes data models are involved in Lumira now, and charts constructed using Lumira, diagrams and meter panels are easily exported to BusinessObjects where access to them is regulated by all-corporate rules and role politicians.

2015: Integration of SAP Lumira and Google Sheets

On May 6, 2015 the SAP company announced use in a packet of Lumira of these spreadsheets of Google Sheets. Implementation of storage of visualization and the infographics created in Lumira is planned, in service of storage Google Drive SAP^[1].

Expansion of opportunities of corporate applications and problem of a business intelligence - those reference points at which future joint projects of the companies are aimed SAP and Google, the CEO of SAP Bill McDermott at a conference of users of Sapphire said.

SAP Lumira allows use of these spreadsheets of Google Sheets along with data from corporate applications. It is going to implement preserving of the visualization and infographics created in Lumira, in service of storage Google Drive. Files can be saved in the Google Docs formats. SuccessFactors personnel management system with the Fiori interface will also be integrated with Google Drive, and use of Google applications of Apps will be well directly from Fiori.

Commenting on rumors about a possibility of purchase of company Salesforce.com, Makdermott emphasized: "We never bought assets which cost falls, and are not interested in purchase of Salesforce in any way ".
