Segezha Group (SAP Analytics Cloud)

2021: Optimizing Analytical Reporting Business Processes

The BearingPoint team helped Segezha Group implement the SAP S/4HANA integrated enterprise management project.

Part of the project was the optimization of business processes analytical reporting (using, SAP Analytics Cloud DiBo,): BW/4

• Sales and production reporting units have been implemented;
• Analytical reporting for management has been designed and implemented (using SAP Analytics Cloud, DiBo, BW/4);
• Integration of the SAP BW4/HANA analytical reporting system with the TIPS production system was implemented to obtain end-to-end production reports from the Segezha Pulp and Paper Mill;
• The analytical panel "Plywood shipment" was designed and implemented for the sales directorate of the Vyatka plywood plant using the latest SAP cloud technologies for designing dashboards - SAP Analytics Cloud. This development was also successfully replicated to other divisions of the Segezha Group - GalichLes LLC and Galich Plywood Combine LLC (GFK LLC);
• A number of cross-functional reports have been implemented for the management of enterprises;
• A number of reports have been designed for the Head of Procurement at Segezha Group. The reports were based on data from the SAP Ariba cloud system and data from the SAP S/4HANA transaction system;
• SAP Ariba has been designed and implemented to integrate with SAP BW4/HANA for end-to-end purchasing analytics, starting with the appearance of data in MM until the end of the purchasing process in SAP Ariba. As a result of the project, reporting is implemented on real system data with minimizing the human factor in the collection and preparation of data.

The BearingPoint team also helped Segezha Group implement consolidation work based on SAP BPC 10.1 Optimized, in which:

• Corporate methodology for consolidation and management reporting has been developed;
• A unified data model for financial and management consolidation and budgeting has been implemented;
• The consolidation system is implemented on the basis of one with the accounting system S/4 chart of accounts without mapping.

The project won awards:

• SAP Unstoppable Business 2021
