2022: Creating the possibility of exchanging electronic documents with counterparties
On July 7, 2022, SberKorus, a digital platform for companies and individuals, announced that it had created the possibility of exchanging electronic documents with counterparties for the Kirovsky supermarket chain using the fully Russian SPHERE EDI system.
The Kirovsky supermarket chain has 172 stores and shopping centers in Yekaterinburg and the Sverdlovsk region as of July 2022, in which 5 million purchases are made every month. The EDI sphere is already used by Kirovsky to automate product orders from more than 100 suppliers.
In 2021, the volume of exchange of electronic documents of Kirovsky and its suppliers in SberKorus services reached 1.5 million documents. After connecting to the SPHERE EDI system, further growth of electronic document management is expected. All system settings have already been made, readiness for electronic exchange of documents and data using fully Russian software has been created.
The transfer of companies to Russian software will help create stable and fully protected business processes from external influence, ensuring the reliability and completeness of the entire Russian business.
The costs associated with paper, printing, reproduction, storage, mail and document retrieval decreased when switching to EDI SPHERE, which reduced the transaction costs of our network by 15%, in addition, the system helped to speed up business cycles by 10% and reduce the number of transactions with errors by 15-20%, - said Konstantin Chudinov, head of the information systems department of the Kirovsky group of companies. |
The EDI electronic data exchange system is needed by stores and their suppliers to ensure electronic document flow and accounting when placing orders and delivering goods to stores. The transfer of trading platforms to Russian software will help ensure the reliability and completeness of the supply of goods to stores. The SPHERE EDI system was developed by SberKorus independently and completely localized in Russia. All servers that ensure its operation are located on the territory of the Russian Federation and are reliably protected by cyber protection, "said Alexander Belobrov, EDI project manager in SberKorus. |
