2022: Announcement of Lexie B1 hearing aids

Lexie Hearing and Bose announced on July 27, 2022, a collaboration to introduce the Bose self-adjusting hearing aid technology into the Lexie product line.

The new Lexie B1 hearing aids use Bose technology, allowing users to self-configure, program and manage their hearing aids with clinically validated, audiologically qualitative results without requiring a doctor's visit, hearing test or prescription.

SoundControl hearing aids will no longer be manufactured or sold as a result of the new partnership, according to the release. The company will continue to support customers who have previously purchased this product.

The Bose-enabled Lexie B1 hearing aids will cost $899, which the company says is only a fraction of the cost of most traditional hearing aids.
