2022: Automation of the equipment diagnostics planning process at Rosseti Lenenergo
GC "Edith Pro" On August 10, 2022, it announced the implementation of a project to automate the planning of multi-year and annual schedule plans, accounting for the fact and reporting forms for diagnostic work in PJSC Rosseti Lenenergo"." The project allowed the company to reduce costs, labor costs and increase the level of reliability of electrical network equipment.
Rosseti Lenenergo operates 110-0.4 kV electric networks with a length of 81,590 km. The diagnosis of such a number of equipment plays an important role in the operation of power grids: it depends on how effective the maintenance and repair of equipment will be, how reliable the power supply to consumers will be.
Prior to the start of the project, Rosseti Lenenergo did not provide for a full-scale automated formation of long-term and annual schedules for diagnosing equipment in information systems.
In addition, the company needed digital tools to calculate the cost of performing diagnostics, monitoring test protocols and measurements by equipment group. An automatic report generation mechanism was also needed.
To solve these problems, Edith Pro was chosen, which has repeatedly acted as a partner in digitalization projects for energy companies. The solutions "1C:ERP Enterprise Management": "Integrated Enterprise Resource Management" (ERP) were chosen as the platform for automation.
During the project, integration was carried out with the subsystems: Certification, Accounting for technical condition, Maintenance and repair (MR), as well as the accounting system of Rosseti Lenenergo. The workplaces of the specialized divisions of the Lenenergo Diagnostic Center and more than 400 workplaces of specialists from the diagnostic services of the branches of Rosseti Lenenergo were automated.
Within the framework of the solution, a customizable periodicity mechanism is implemented. It allows you to make flexible settings for the timing of diagnostics in the context of object types, equipment classes, types of diagnostic work.
As a result of the project, the calculation of the planned cost of work on the diagnosis of electrical equipment, the process of conducting the frequency of diagnostic work, the mechanism for forming long-term and annual schedules, as well as diagnostic plans were automated. Monitoring of the implementation of diagnostic measures and work with reporting are now carried out automatically.
The solution implements the functionality of planning and accounting for types of diagnostics, such as partial discharge measurements and visual examinations of electrical installations in the ultraviolet range of electromagnetic radiation. This characterizes the project as innovative.
As a result, Rosseti Lenenergo reduced labor costs and operating costs by 5%, reduced production defects by 15% and accelerated management reporting by 80%. Diagnostics of the equipment will allow replacing worn out devices and other components in advance, so that the company will be able to provide consumers with higher quality services. The project has become another link in the digital transformation of the company, noted Dmitry Kichko, General Director of Edit Pro Group of Companies.
