2021: Creating an online store
Task
The customer needed a modern online store that met all the norms and trends in e-commerce. As well as a tool that will help develop D2C sales in the Russian segment.
Decision
Catalog
For the convenience of users and better promotion of goods, the following are implemented:
- a multi-level catalog with the display of the main sections in the site header;
- several search options - full-text and faceted with parameters thought out for each section;
- "Novelties" section;
- Detailed product cards with additional marketing tools in the form of feedback and rating.
Personal account
It is convenient to save your favorite products, place and track orders to customers through your personal account. It is available to authorized users. Depending on the gender, the icon in the profile cap changes. The following pages are presented in your personal account using the navigation menu: My profile, Personal data, Favorites, Orders, Delivery addresses and Mailings.
Since the main functionality for the user is concentrated around the order, the ability to quickly get the desired one has been worked out. information For example, on the My Orders page, the user sees a list of orders with the necessary ones, data as well as statuses: In Work, Completed, Canceled.
Design and delivery
To shorten your purchase path, the shopping cart and checkout pages are combined. On the checkout page, the user can change the size, quantity, delete an item, add to favorites, enter a promotional code. In this case, the system automatically checks the availability of goods and removes those that are not available, informing the user. Several delivery options are available (pickup or delivery by courier), as well as two payment methods: upon receipt and online by bank card.
Result
The customer has received a solution that meets all the norms and trends in e-commerce. The tool helps to develop online sales in the Russian segment and compete with other top companies in this sector. Users quickly and easily place orders, and the manufacturer gets the opportunity to directly build communication with the consumer and better recognize his needs.
