2022: Expansion of the functionality of road cameras

Specialists of NPO "ITS" have configured the equipment and software of the photo and video recording system for traffic violations in the Republic of Bashkortostan. ITS announced this on August 19, 2022. Road cameras installed in the region will now additionally record two more types of violations. Fines to motorists will come for an unfastened seat belt and a conversation on the phone at the wheel.

The fine for these violations is 1 thousand rubles and 1.5 thousand rubles, respectively. At the same time, such punishment is provided for both individuals and legal entities.

We continue to develop a system of photo and video recording of traffic violations in Bashkortostan. It already gives a specific effect: it helps to reduce the number of accidents and extinguish the foci of accidents. With advanced functionality, this effect should be even higher. Our specialists have debugged the software and tested the neural network for accurate and correct detection of violations, - said Vyacheslav Smirnov, General Director of the NGO Intelligent Technical Systems.

On Augsut 2022, more than 1800 photo and video recording complexes operate on the roads of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Cameras also record a standard set of traffic violations: speeding, failure to provide an advantage in traffic to pedestrians, driving to a prohibiting traffic light and violating road markings.
