2023: As part of the solution for automation of gas station networks

FIT and Luxe Retail, Russian suppliers of IT solutions for trading, are developing a partnership and entering the market for automation of gas station networks with a joint integrated IT solution. Luxe Retail announced this on December 8, 2023.

The significant decline in profitability from retail fuel sales observed in recent years is forcing fuel companies to look for new ways to attract consumers and increase revenue through the supply of additional goods and services. And in conditions of stable quality and fuel prices among different operators, it is the non-basic product that determines consumer loyalty to a specific gas station network.

The need to effectively promote a set of related goods and services encourages fuel chains to borrow best practices and technologies from classic retailers. It is for such customers from among the gas station networks focused on increasing competitiveness in the fuel market that FIT and Luxe Retail offer a joint complex IT solution consisting of several seamlessly integrated software products.

The solution consists of:

• Accounting platform. lsFusion ERP 4R is a centralized commodity management system, the flexible business logic of which allows you to effectively automate retail and wholesale networks of different formats and market segments. Adapted for fuel retail tasks, it has high performance and scalability, which allows you to control the operation of thousands of gas stations in real time with relatively low requirements for computing resources. To work with fuel, lsFusion ERP 4R implemented parallel accounting in volume and weight based on fuel density at the level of each transaction. This makes it possible to accurately take into account the remains in the tank section and significantly reduce unreasonable fuel losses in the supply chain from arrival to sale to the consumer.
• Fuel platform. FuelX - monitoring and management system of equipment of gas stations. Monitors the state of the technological equipment of the gas station, monitors the movement and quality of fuel, monitors the correctness of personnel actions. Monitoring covers fuel dispensers, tanks, car washes, price stele, other equipment and interacts with accounting and cash registers platforms. The functionality of the system includes cross-control of the actions of gas station employees, shipments and supplies of fuel, emergency situations, fuel quality, the system has a wide variety of fuel sales management and generates reports for analyzing the operation of gas stations.
• Cash platform. It includes the PosX program for gas station cash registers, the SelfX program for customer self-service areas, the PosX cash manager for centralized management of all gas station network cash registers, and the Bonus loyalty program for managing customer discounts and bonuses. The cash service, previously successfully tested in classic retail, is now adapted to work at gas stations and provides maximum throughput of gas stations and fast operation of the entire sales infrastructure of the fuel company due to special performance and the highest speed: a check of 10 items is printed at the checkout in just 2 seconds, a directory with a volume of 100 thousand SKU is loaded from the sales system to the checkout in 15-60 seconds, and the cash manager processes 40 thousand checks from the gas station in 15 seconds.

2021: Presentation of lsFusion ERP 4R

On July 15, 2021, the company FIT presented Russian to customers a centralized system for automation of management and accounting retail in and wholesale, to trade including for large chains and RS lsFusion ERP 4R (FayRetail lsFusion).

The proposed solution is the result of international cooperation between FIT and a software developer from Belarus - LuxSoft. The solution is based on the lsFusion ERP system, which was finalized in accordance with the requirements of Russian legislation.
