Availability of Agent Eva Free Secretary to all subscribers

MegaFon announced on 1 September 2022 that Agent Eve's comprehensive solution has become available to all subscribers. The free service can act as a virtual secretary, block certain categories of unwanted calls, and warn about potentially dangerous sites. The functionality is configured depending on the needs of a particular user in your personal account.

The virtual secretary answers all calls that the user dropped or missed. Thanks to artificial intelligence, Agent Eve is able to support any conversation. If the call is important, she will clarify the details, for example, find out from the interlocutor at what time the subscriber can call back or where to pick up the order from the online store, and if the spammer calls, he will listen to the terms of the offer and say goodbye. The virtual secretary has a sense of humor - he knows how to joke, including in response to annoying ads. Text transcript of the conversation and audio recording of the dialogue comes to the MegaFon application.

Agent Eve quickly and accurately identifies spammers using a constantly updated database of hundreds of thousands of phone numbers created using Big Data. If the call comes from a number that is not in the subscriber's phone book, Agent Eve will show a business card with an organization category, for example, "taxi," "delivery" or indicate a specific company name. The subscriber can block certain categories of unwanted calls in one click - and such calls will be automatically transferred to the virtual secretary. For example, you can independently answer calls from banks, but transfer all polls to a virtual secretary.

The service will make surfing the Internet safer for the subscriber. When trying to follow the link leading to the phishing site, Agent Eva will warn the user that attackers are trying to gain access to his confidential data.

All three main options will be available when the Eve Agent is connected by default, but if desired, the subscriber can customize the functionality. The user also has the opportunity to choose a virtual secretary with a male voice - his name is Maxim.

While working on Agent Eve, the company relied on a comprehensive solution. Now this is not just a virtual secretary, but a defender with whom the use of mobile communications has become more convenient and safer. With the development of technology, spammers and scammers are finding more and more ways to bypass locks. We analyzed more than 400 million calls received by subscribers from dubious numbers in 10 weeks and found an updated category of spambots. These spambots make up to five times more calls per day, and one number instead of one or two months uses only a day. Technical capabilities allow you to identify and enter them into the spam database as quickly as possible, protecting customers from unwanted calls,

Statistics collected during the pilot project showed that most often Russians receive spam calls from banks (41%), collectors (16%) and microcredit organizations (14%). The top 5 anti-rating also includes polls (6%) and offers of various services (5%).

On June 15, 2022, MegaFon announced the development of additional functionality for Eva's voice assistant, which will become available to subscribers throughout Russia in the third quarter of 2022.

MegaFon offered a voice assistant to a test group of subscribers in July 2021. The voice assistant helps not to miss important calls and protects against voice spam.

For June 2022, each incoming call Eve assigns one of 25 categories: useful call, delivery service, collectors, spam and others. If the subscriber did not answer the call or dropped it, Eva will accept the incoming call, independently determine the source and purpose of the call, maintain the conversation and send the transcript of the missed call to the user in the chat.

During the pilot project , Eva received an average of 120 thousand calls per month, of which about 9% are spam. Eve recognizes it with high accuracy thanks to, artificial intelligence promptly analyzing the telephone base and calculating spammer numbers. Over the past six months, Eva spoke with spammers for more than 25 days.

Only in May, the voice assistant listened to 2562 offers of medical services and 492 - financial, and also 1427 times responded to the requests of the poll organizers. At the same time, Eva helped not to miss 1131 calls from couriers and delivery services. She knows how to support a conversation and constantly improves this skill: the longest conversation lasted 12 minutes.
