The OSAGO marketplace from Sberbank and the portal of public services can now directly exchange data. In the questionnaire on the marketplace, it is enough for the client to indicate the number of the car, and information about the driver's license and experience will be loaded automatically from public services. Thanks to this, the offer of insurance will come even faster. The calculation also requires a STS or CAT (EPTS) and a passport. Sberbank announced this on February 15, 2024.

In addition, Sberbank launched a function that allows you to change the persons admitted to driving a vehicle in a couple of clicks. To do this, just tick the boxes against the right people. Their data will be displayed in the service if they were previously entered into insurance. After that, the cost of OSAGO will be calculated, and if the price does not suit, you can change your choice.

On the marketplace for February 2024, 17 insurance companies are represented, including SberStrakhovanie. Visitors can compare offers and choose the most profitable. You can apply for a policy on the marketplace in the SberBank Online mobile application or in the Sber branch.

In 2023, visitors to the Sberbank marketplace issued 850 thousand OSAGO policies. This is 30% more than in 2022. The total insurance premium under the concluded contracts amounted to 5.6 billion rubles. Our clients have issued 76% of OSAGO policies online and only 24% in Sberbank branches. It is important for us to make the service as convenient and profitable as possible, so we have integrated it with public services in order to speed up the filling out of forms. The client can only be allowed to transfer the relevant data from public services to the Sberbank systems, that is, check the boxes next to these items in his personal account on the public services portal. We plan that in the near future the amount of data that will be available for auto-filling based on information on Public services will increase, in particular, the STS will become available,

2022: Marketplace launch

Sberbank on September 5, 2022 announced the launch of a marketplace for the sale of OSAGO policies for legal entities of the small and micro-business segment. You can apply for a policy in one of 12 insurance companies - partners of the service, including SberStrakhovanie.

To issue an OSAGO policy, the client must indicate the registration mark of the vehicle and TIN of the legal entity on the marketplace. After that, the system will allow you to compare offers in several insurance companies online and choose the best option. You can pay for the policy with a bank card. The e-policy will be sent to the client by e-mail within 30 minutes of payment.

Sberbank already has significant experience in the field of insurance marketplaces. Since 2020, the bank has been developing an OSAGO marketplace for individuals. Car owners can purchase a policy by comparing the conditions of insurers - partners of the site and choosing the optimal offer for themselves. The total fees of the service have already exceeded 2.3 billion rubles.
