The operating system RED OS in the academic year 2022-23 will go to 123 educational organizations of the Vladimir region. On September 15, 2022, RED SOFT announced that it had transferred licenses for the RED OS operating system to organize pilot classes to the Department of Education and Youth Policy of the Vladimir Region at the Regional Pedagogical Council. As part of the event, RED SOFT specialists also demonstrated the operating system to the interim governor of the Vladimir region, Alexander Avdeev.

For a smooth and "painless" transition to Russian school software, the participants in the pilot project will receive methodological support from the company, the developer of the Russian operating system. RED SOFT also provided methodological materials on teaching teachers to the Vladimir Institute for the Development of Education named after L.I. Novikova.

Educational institutions of the Vladimir region joined the pilot project on import substitution based on the RED OS operating system, the development office of which is located in Murom. In the future, schoolchildren will become graduates, and later certified specialists who will work on improving domestic software, noted Rustam Rustamov, Deputy General Director of RED SOFT.
