2022: Commissioning of Integrated Business Management System

In April 2022, the full-cycle company NPO Petrovax Farm and WiseAdvice-IT announced the successful commissioning of an integrated business management system from the customer. Petrovax digital transformation is implemented on the basis of the master system 1C:ERP Enterprise Management 2.5.

Petrovaks needed a transition to an ERP system that could become the connecting link of all accounting circuits. Petrovax had 50 + types of existing types of finished products, more than 600 materials were purchased to ensure the production process. The outdated 1S:UPP system no longer corresponded to modern business process management trends and the dynamically growing level of digitalization of the company itself.

In the context of the pandemic and the growing foreign economic crisis, there was an urgent need not only for restructuring the work of the pharmaceutical enterprise, increasing production volumes, developing a vaccine against COVID-19, but also for expanding the range of digital technologies used to improve business efficiency, where 1C:ERP acts as a central system: IT unit, production, marketing and business analytics using data collection and analysis tools.

Project results

  • The company's core metrics can now be easily managed online, allowing you to respond instantly to any changes in the market. And thanks to the created base for the development of predictive analytics using Data Science, prospects for longer-term forecasts have opened up. This helps the business to move in the right direction and increase the pace of development of the company, regardless of external factors.
  • A standardized approach to the calculation of indicators made it possible to increase the speed of reflecting sales data by market up to 24 hours after the close of the week - this is an enviable speed for many competitors in; pharmaceutical industries
  • Ensuring automated end-to-end planning of sales, procurement and production has reduced labor costs in divisions by 10%, as well as accelerated order fulfillment by 12%;
  • The management team at any time monitors all current processes of the enterprise: from internal planning to delivery of products to the end consumer - by accelerating the preparation of management reports by 16%;
  • The formation of regulated reporting accelerated by about 2 times due to the maximum automation of the work of employees: auto-completion of reporting forms, the use of document templates, a convenient interface with prompts for users, updating legislative changes without a chance of error when sending data to regulatory authorities;
  • The prospect of scaling the business based on the functionality of the new ERP system is open. Already in the plans of Petrovax for the next 5 years is the implementation of a number of large-scale projects to expand pharmaceutical production within the framework of an investment strategy, including for the production of orphan, oncological and autoimmune drugs. So, in July 2022, Petrovax launched a new 4th production line for the production of injectable forms in the Moscow region. And managing business processes in a single IT infrastructure helps 1C:ERP.
