Auto-Leader car dealerships have switched to a new version of the Alfa-Auto: Auto Show + Auto Service + Auto Parts solution

2022: Introduction of AlfaAvto: Car Dealership + Car Service + Auto Parts Edition 6

On September 21, 2022, 1C-Rarus announced that three Auto-Leader car dealerships in  Yekaterinburg had switched from AlfaAuto: Auto Show + Auto Service + Auto Parts Edition 4 to the sixth edition of the decision. The updated version of the program is most relevant and contains advanced functionality, many useful tools, a flexible access control system, an updated interface, and an electronic document management subsystem . AlfaAvto additions were also introduced in dealerships : "Customer Relationship Management," "Interface with Audatex" and "Time Accounting."

According to the company, the transition to the updated version of the solution was carried out by the partner of 1C-Rarus - the Unique Solutions company. The development and implementation team had a difficult task. The customer configuration contained improvements, the presence of which ensured the continuity of the business processes of dealerships. Some blocks of the program were implemented by the Auto-Leader IT department " from scratch," for example, the work of the insurance and lending department, a call center, dozens of print forms and reports, exchanges with distributor databases, a system for working with the Worklist tool, which includes CRM functionality, etc  .

The program contained a large amount of data accumulated since 2014 , among which important information about car repairs, transaction history, chronology of insurance and lending, customer contacts were stored. The information needed to be saved and transferred to the solution of the updated edition.    The contractor had 4 months from pre-project inspection to commissioning. At the same time, the only possible transition time was New Year's Eve. It was necessary to complete commissioning before the first working day - January 4, so that the activities of car dealerships were not interrupted.

Unique Solutions experts in close cooperation with  the customer's IT department performed the following:

• Two-month pre-design examination. Within the framework of the stage, not only interviewing employees, research and documentation of key business processes were carried out, but also  tripartite comparative analysis and documentation of customer configuration improvements (comparison with the standard release of the configuration "Alfa-Auto: Auto Dealership + Auto Service + Auto Parts Edition 4," comparison with the release "Alfa-Auto: Auto Dealership + Auto Service + Auto Parts KORP Edition 6").
• Selection and installation of the necessary software licenses, configuration recommendations server ON  and equipment.
• Implementation of the method of direct updating of the client's database for the current release "Alfa-Auto: Car Dealership + Auto Service + Auto Parts KORP Edition 6" with the preservation and adaptation of the functionality finalized in the previous edition.
• Development of recommendations for the transfer of business processes to the updated configuration, modification and configuration for other software without loss of functionality.
• Training of key employees to work with the updated edition.
• Pre-test base stress tests.
• Transition to the updated edition of the program on New Year's Eve and the first days of the new year.
• Support - the presence of the contractor's employees "on the ground" in the first days of launch, as well as duty developers for an operational response in case of emergency situations.

During the project, the implementers and developers of the Unique Solutions company solved a total of 350 diverse tasks. As a result of the project, Avto-Leader uses a solution that meets all the necessary requirements. The program contains full-text data search, EDO, tire marking tool, web services, online scaling through configuration extensions, exchange with "1C: Enterprise Accounting " and other useful functions "Alfa-Auto: Car Dealership + Auto Service + Auto Parts KORP Edition 6."
