On September 27, 2022, NIPK Electron announced the delivery of the first domestic tomographic X-ray module (MTP) to the city hospital No. 2 in Belgorod.

MTP is one of the developments of NIPK Electron JSC, created by the company's specialists in the Leningrad Region against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic with an eye to accessing high-tech CT studies for patients living in inaccessible and remote regions of the country, where there is a shortage of tomographic equipment. At the same time, the module can be operated in urban conditions, expanding the capabilities of regional LPUs, both during critical loads on the infrastructure of medical institutions, and at a calmer time, allowing you to safely and in large quantities, compared to a separately equipped office, carry out both routine and specialized diagnostics of cardiological, oncological and other diseases.

The module with an area of ​ ​ 42.6 m2 has separate rooms for a doctor, laboratory assistant and patient, that is, it has a division into "red" and "green zones," is equipped with a powerful 64-cut computer tomograph manufactured by NIPK "Electron." An intuitive and convenient interface allows you to implement integration with the IE available in the LPU. MTP implements engineering solutions for climate control, power supply, video surveillances public communications address and alerts, automatic fire alarm and water supply. The design features make it possible to ensure a stable quality of research, taking into account additional stress loads on equipment during its transportation and module movement, as well as to operate M&E Russian in climate conditions even at negative temperatures up to -50 degrees.

The product is not inferior in the quality of research to Western analogues, and in terms of patient safety, the doctor and laboratory assistant has no competitors in the Russian market. The distinctive quality of the model is the room disinfection system with a complete replacement of air in the module room in 3 minutes, which allows you to safely and efficiently conduct up to 12 individual studies per hour. Technically, disinfection is carried out by spraying the ClO2 solution (chlorine dioxide) in the "red" zone and ultraviolet air recirculation.

We have developed MTR to make effective diagnostics available, and the research process is as safe and fast as possible, - said Dmitry Korostelev, First Deputy General Director of NIPK Electron JSC, - and are very glad that Belgorod, a large regional city growing in population, was the first project, where great attention is paid to the re-equipment of the LPU and high-quality medical care for patients.
