On September 28, 2022, it became known about large supplies of medical devices for patients with stoma in Moscow. The corresponding contract for 8.6 billion rubles was concluded between the capital's Department of Health and Gemamed.

As stated on the official website of the mayor of Moscow, in January-August 2022, Gemamed, as part of an offset contract, delivered more than 1 million medical devices to the city in the amount of 388 million for stoma patients who receive them for free.

As the head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow Vladislav Ovchinsky explained, the company plans to almost completely close the needs of the capital's health care system in the main products for stomed patients and develop supplies to the regions of Russia.

Under the terms of the contract, the capital will purchase these products for eight years.

The annual need of medical organizations of the Moscow Department of Health for basic medical devices for stomated patients is about 3.9 million units. Thus, from 2023, the offset contract will provide the city with such products almost completely, said Mikhail Ignatov, head of the pharmacy department of the Moscow Department of Health.[1]
