Project date: 2022/10

The X5 group has moved its robots and their infrastructure from the UiPath system to the Russian one. This became known in early October 2022.

The X5 partner for this project was chosen by Greenatom. It provides migrations of 150 X5 Group robots based on its own development - the Atom.RITA software robotization platform. Within the framework of the agreement, Greenatom will deploy the platform in the Kh5 infrastructure, using modern robot construction practices, and will carry out software maintenance.

X5 moved its robots to the Russian system

The departure of foreign RPA platform vendors forced many Russian companies to decide on the transition to domestic solutions. X5 Group also faced the need to migrate its software robots to domestic software to ensure the functioning of the company's business processes. The task of choosing was complicated by the fact that the decision had to be made in a short time due to the impossibility of renewing licenses for imported software.

We reviewed and tested the most common domestic solutions of this class - Primo, Pix, Sherpa, Robin. When choosing an RPA platform, the following indicators were taken into account: the number, load and functionality of robotic scenarios. It is important for us that the platform ensures the stable operation of our robots, meets the requirements of information security, is convenient for developers, and also reduces the cost of developing new robots to increase the share of robotization in the company's business processes, "said Evgeny Shstenko, manager of robotization of support processes at X5 Group.

According to him, the implementation of three processes took 15 working days, an expert team from Greenatom was allocated for the pilot - six developers, analyst, architect, timlid and project manager. As a result of the pilot, the code of the robots was optimized, which will facilitate their support in the future, the processing time was reduced, the implementation and quality of the output data were fully confirmed by the business customer, he added.
