At the beginning of 2022, the management of Positive Systems decided to change the data center operator and move to the site, which could ensure uninterrupted and quick access for client services, as well as guarantee the safety and security of data. The choice of another data center was the result of the company's dissatisfaction with the work of its previous partners. Previously, the company collaborated with several data centers and was forced to part with them due to frequent technical problems and unpredictable pricing policies.

When choosing this site for infrastructure placement, the provider took into account both its own and client requirements. The main one is high reliability and excellent reputation. To select a supplier, a list of applicants was compiled, which included 25 Russian data center service providers, including the IXcellerate MOS1 data center.

At the first stage of selection, sites located outside the Moscow Ring Road were screened out. The criteria for the next stage were the network neutrality of the potential partner, connectivity conditions and the ability to switch communication channels without physically moving the server to another place. IXcellerate topped the final shortlist as it provides its customers with the widest range of communication providers. Further, the customer's specialists studied the technical parameters of the data center infrastructure - their equipment, regulations and security modes. An important feature of IXcellerate was the presence of the Remote Hands service, since 90% of Positive Systems employees work remotely. According to the customer, the final argument in favor of IXcellerate was the cost of services. IXcellerate managed to offer an attractive price, which allowed the provider to form IT services for its own customers on its basis.
