2022: Calculating capital adequacy ratios by finalised approach with Digital Q.Reporting

CentralCredit Bank and Diasoft completed the project, as a result of which the bank's capital adequacy ratios are calculated according to the finalized approach in accordance with Bank of Russia Instruction No. 199-I of 29.11.2019. This was announced by Diasoft on October 24, 2022.

To calculate the ratios according to the finalized approach, the bank uses the Diasoft software product "Reporting of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation," which is part of the Digital Q.Reporting development platform. The product allows you to automate the processes of preparing mandatory reporting to the Bank of Russia: with its help, CentroCredit prepares and submits to the Bank of Russia more than 10 reporting forms. The reporting form 135 is now constructed in accordance with changes in the calculation of the bank's capital adequacy ratios.

During the project, the teams from CentroCredit Bank and Diasoft jointly worked out a methodology for calculating indicators and controlling the quality of data from various sources. Also, during the implementation of the updated reporting form 135, criteria for detailing data were formed, thanks to which the complex multi-stage calculation process became completely transparent to business users. The project to switch to calculating standards for the finalized approach and automate the preparation of the updated reporting form took about six months.

The calculation of ratios according to the finalized approach allows you to display detailed information about customer credit risks and increase the capitalization of the bank, creating additional opportunities for improving the N1.i ratio. Therefore, it was decided to implement this approach in CenterCredit. Taking into account the long-term and extensive experience of cooperation, the bank chose Diasoft as a technological partner for the project. As a result of the project, the complex and time-consuming process of calculating standards and preparing reports was automated,
noted Olga Yurievna Pavlova, chief accountant - Head of Accounting and Reporting Department, Bank CentroCredit.

Diasoft became the first developer to offer banks automation of calculating indicators according to the finalized approach by the time the requirements of the 199-I Instructions come into force. To do this, the company in advance supported the reporting form in the software product "Reporting of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation," and in October 2022 banks - customers of Diasoft - use this functionality,
emphasized Igor Shabanin, Deputy Director of the Data Economics Department of Diasoft.
