The main arguments in favor of this choice were the presence of an FSTEC certificate and migration algorithms, which allow maintaining process continuity even during platform changes. The implementation of the migration project was undertaken by Astra Group of Companies. Import substitution was decided to be carried out in several stages. As of November 2022, part of the server equipment and 300 user workplaces have already been transferred to Astra Linux Special Edition, centralized management of the updated infrastructure has been organized and its trouble-free operation has been established. During the project, experts solved a number of non-standard issues. In particular, they had to ensure the compatibility of the implemented solutions with the legacy customer software intended for use in the Windows OS environment, as well as with peripherals: webcams, printers, scanners, etc. Another barrier in import substitution was the question of the qualification of the customer's personnel: system administrators and other MPSC employees did not have experience interacting with Linux-like software. In order for them to work effectively with the new software and use its advantages as soon as possible, they were provided with a variety of training materials and technical support services from the vendor.
