Biography
Boris Martynov was born on August 29, 1952. He graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute with a degree in Electrical Engineer. Since 1990, in various positions, he worked in the Russian representative office of IBM, where he went from a representative of customer technical support to deputy general director for business development in the Eastern Europe and Asia region.
Since 2002, Boris has been the Commercial Director of IBM EE/A. During the six years of Boris's leadership, IBM's commercial division grew steadily by more than 20% annually, and these growth rates were maintained quarterly. Mr. Martynov also oversaw the development of IBM's business in the regions of Russia, as a result of which more than 10 points of presence of the company in our country were created.
Since July 2009, Boris Martynov served as Deputy General Director for Business Development at IBM in Russia and the CIS. The main focus of his activities was to conclude large contracts with a large component of IT services.
Boris Martynov has been the head of the commercial directorate since September 2010. In this position, Mr. Martynov oversees the development and implementation of Asteros commercial strategies and initiatives that meet the needs of the market and ensure the sustainable development of the company's business. Among the priorities are the optimization of the sales process and the creation of a scalable commercial model.
