2022: The line of three high-speed SSDs goes on sale - 512 GB, 1 and 2 TB

DIGMA, an international manufacturer of digital home and work technology and electronics, announced on November 15, 2022, the launch of a line of three high-speed SSDs - 512 GB, 1 and 2 TB, respectively. Each uses one of the fastest PCI-E 4.0 x4 data transfer interfaces, which guarantees read speeds of up to 7400 MB/s. Such drives will be useful for lovers of resource-intensive games, as well as those who work with large files in high resolution, for example, 4K.

These disks are based on the Chinese high-performance Innogrit IG5236 controller. The chipset is manufactured using the 12-nanometer FinFET process at TSMC facilities, supports PCI-E 4.0 x4 interface and NVMe 1.4 protocol. The devices are supplied immediately with a radiator, which extends the life of the drive and eliminates trottling.

The Innogrit controller provides not only storage reliability, but also high performance SSD DIGMA TOP G3. So, a drive with 512 GB of memory has a read speed of 7100 MB/s, and writes - 2500 MB/s. For the 1TB model, these figures are 7400 MB/s and 5500 MB/s, respectively. And a 2TB disk is even faster - 7400 MB/s and 6700 MB/s for reading and writing. Fast reading speed is important for those who play on PS5 or gaming PCs, as well as those who need to quickly download, edit or save video and graphics in high resolution at work.

The guaranteed rewriting volume for each model is 500, 1000 and 2000 TB, respectively. According to DIGMA, all SSDs are capable of working smoothly for 1.5 million hours, which is approximately 170 years. The manufacturer has released all three SSD TOP G3 in M.2 2280 format (width 22 mm, length 80 mm). The M.2 connector is compatible with desktop PCs and game consoles.

SSD DIGMAs are equipped with flash memory with a multi-layer TLC 3D NAND structure. This provides drives with a balance between speed, durability and cost. Models TOP G3 are already sold in Russian online stores at a price of 5,290 to 17,990 rubles. DIGMA emphasizes that in all SSDs, the controller model and memory type always remain unchanged. The local device warranty is valid for five years.
