Furniture factory " March 8" launched the production of a special series of soft furniture intended for medical institutions, its upholstery fully complies with sanitary and epidemiological standards. The company has already delivered the first batch of bed chairs to one of the private medical institutions in Moscow. This was announced on November 18, 2022 by the head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow, which is part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations of the capital, Vladislav Ovchinsky.

Metropolitan companies are participating in the process of equipping new healthcare facilities with the necessary equipment. For example, the March 8 factory has developed a special line of furniture that is intended for those who care for the sick. The company has already delivered more than 130 seats from this series to one of the hospitals. A special mechanism allows you to fix them not only in the sitting position, but also in the lying position. In the near future, more than 500 units of various furniture will be produced, including the production of sofas for hospitals, - said Vladislav Ovchinsky.

The head of the department added that the Moscow manufacturer purchased special material for upholstery of chairs, which is easily sanitized and at the same time has high wear resistance.

The transformation mechanism of the seat-bed is easy to use and due to the large safety margin is designed for daily use. Disassembled, the chair has a sleeping place measuring 66x200 centimeters.

The power elements of the mechanism are made of steel and beech. Flooring with multilayer elastic filler has orthopedic properties, ensuring healthy sleep. For those who care for the patient, the function of the "relax" position is also important, when you can sit in a chair. Rest in this position will be the most full-fledged if you need to stay awake for a long time, for example, throughout the night, - said the commercial director of the factory Oleg Bilich.
