2019: Implementation of EDMS "1C: Document Flow 8 KORP"

In September 2019, the world leader in the production of equipment and consumables for welding and cutting ESAB in Russia automated document management processes. With the help of ED1C: Document flow 8 versions of KORP covered tasks at the holding level. 100 workplaces were automated.

The Swedish company became the first foreign manufacturer of welding materials to open its own production in Russia. ESAB plants are located in St. Petersburg, Smolensk region and Tyumen. Thus, along with original imported materials, Russian products complying with the ISO 9001-2000 quality system are also produced under the ESAB brand.

The management of the multinational holding ESAB has concluded a cooperation agreement with the company WiseAdvice-IT to develop the functionality and support the life ERP of the system created on the basis. Within "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management" the framework of the project, federal specialists developed and 1Cintegrator implemented a system for the exchange of electronic documents based on the 1C: Document Flow CORP:

  • A library for storing scanned copies of documents has been implemented;
  • Recognition mechanisms have been created by types and details of documents;
  • A mechanism for issuing consolidated invoices has been developed and implemented to simplify both the internal and external document flow of the holding.

The following functions are automated:

  • Workflow;
  • Accounting and storage of documents;
  • Maintaining a list of cases;
  • Accounting and monitoring of the execution of orders;
  • Time and attendance;
  • Accounting of contracts.

Project results:

  • The process of processing incoming documents has accelerated;
  • The number of errors and the influence of the "human factor" in the processing of documents are reduced;
  • All incoming and outgoing documents are saved electronically;
  • The complexity of the process of collecting a package of documents, if necessary, is minimized.
