The armed forces Russia used To Ukraine Moskit drones to suppress control and data channels of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, aerial reconnaissance and adjust artillery strikes. The work of these drones as part of a special operation in Ukraine Ministry of Defense of the Russian federation was first shown on November 23, 2022.

According to the ministry, the calculations of "Mosquitoes" managed to find the positions of spotters of fire of Ukrainian artillery, aircraft manufacturers, as well as sabotage and reconnaissance groups.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for the first time showed the use of the Mosquito UAV as part of a special operation in Ukraine

As explained in the message of the Ministry of Defense, the UAV allows you to identify the sources of radio emission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and determine the coordinates of their location, which are then transmitted to the fire destruction groups.

The ministry stressed that this is a mobile means of electronic warfare, military personnel of the Central Military District are used in areas of combat contact to complicate the process of operational planning and control of enemy troops, affecting the communication centers of command posts of nationalists located at a considerable distance from the front.

In addition, the payload operator BpLA Moskit, switching between electronic and video equipment, is able to conduct aerial reconnaissance and adjust artillery strikes. It is noted that the Moskit unmanned complexes, created on the basis of the Orlan-10 drones, are equipped with additional radio-electronic modules and are designed to suppress enemy control and transmission channels data.

Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) called the situation with unmanned aerial vehicles at the front difficult. They reported this in an interview with Al Jazeera. According to one of the channel's interlocutors, a 22-year-old artillery commander, drones always fly - every day and hour.
