The prerequisites for implementation were the need to use a domestic IT shared tool that allows the to the analyst Department to conduct projects in real time. time Due to the growing attention to industrial topics, the increase in the number of participants in city support programs, as well as the introduction of anti-crisis mechanisms and programs for industrialists and developers in 2022, the introduction of a unified project management information system has become a timely decision.

Of the dozen IT systems with similar functionality, the customer's choice was made in favor of the ADVANTA flexible platform according to a number of criteria:

In connection with the introduction of project management in the executive body and the increase in the number of projects, it was decided to launch the ADVANTA project management system. At the same time, the following goals were set for the system:

  • accumulating all information about projects, ideas, goals of the organization;
  • Optimal planning and timely reporting for different groups of users
  • development of information and analytical dashboards, with which the company works in real time at meetings of the Project Committee.

The System has made and continues to make significant contributions to the achievement of the Department's strategic goals, accelerating the implementation of projects and enabling employees to more effectively meet their objectives. During the implementation of the ADVANTA implementation project, the following was done:

  • The system has set up object structure, identity and reference books;
  • The project planning and support methodology developed by the DEI Project Office has been transferred. Schedule and report templates can be adjusted to reflect changes in methodology;
  • The project progress report, project portfolio summary report and project documents - passport, completion report are set up for accelerated preparation of external reports.

Implementation results:

  • The Department's project office actively uses the ADVANTA comprehensive project management system to monitor the implementation of the project portfolio and achieve performance indicators. The IT solution is also used to control the implementation of the implemented target setting system in the Department, calculated until the end of 2023. And with the help of the ICMS, performance indicators affecting the target values are monitored. At the same time, each priority project and indicator of the effectiveness of the organization's activities is attached to one or another strategic goal.
  • Within the framework of the DIiPP Project Office methodology:
    • Priority projects affecting the achievement of strategic goals and objectives of the Department.
    • Initiative projects of employees to form other products or modernize existing processes.

  • ADVANTA organizes all existing Departmental projects into one resource. In real time, complete, up-to-date information is available for each project individually and for the portfolio of projects as a whole. Project Office reduced reporting time from three to one hour.
  • 9 analytical dashboards have been created that allow you to quickly and clearly present the results of activities and the current status of the implementation of projects. The efficiency of the preparation of Project Committees has improved, the meeting time has been reduced to 2 hours.
  • In addition to the above project methodology, the Department's employees are actively transferred to ADVANTA. As part of the scaling, some of the procedures for the implementation of investment contracts, large-scale investment projects, import substitution applications supervised by the Department have already been transferred to the system.
  • The system controls the implementation of the instructions of the Head of Department.
  • All current project documents are uploaded to the knowledge base, from which project participants can receive them at any time.
  • Video instructions have been prepared for training users to work with the system.

A base for translating other activities and DIiPP documentation into ADVANTA is being prepared. ADVANTA is actively used to monitor all existing projects and initiatives, achieve strategic goals and performance indicators of the organization. Current data from the system in the form of summary reports are regularly applied in the reports of managers at Department meetings.
