Complex automation of accounting and implementation of an information system based on 1C:Enterprise 8 in network 170 of INCITY shops is complete. The 1C-Rarus company acted as integrator of the project.
Premises to the project
By the time of making decision on project implementation in the company there was a number of system problems:
- existence of the information resources duplicating work of each other, containing conflicting data.
- lack of a reliable data exchange system between the central office and shops.
- poor performance of an information system.
- low reliability of accounting information.
- limited functionality of the front office systems in outlets.
Requirements
Dynamic development of the company required existence of an information system which would provide a possibility of flexible development of functionality and also the necessary performance and scalability (170 monobranded shops in more than 100 cities of Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan).
For accounting of geographically distributed retail network software products 1C: Retail 8 1C: Trade Management 8, created on the platform were selected 1C:Enterprise 8.
Volume
The project automated the main business processes:
- Sales management (wholesale, retail);
- Management of settlement;
- Assortment management and purchases;
- Management of a warehouse complex;
- Traffic control of goods;
- Calculation of replenishment of trade inventories in shops;
- System management of loyalty;
- Reporting preparation of KPI.
Result
The information system allowed to increase effective management of the company, having reduced time for collecting and information analysis. The centralized conducting the basic trade business processes is provided. The company management had great opportunities and float time for acceptance of management decisions.
The reached advantages:
- 1. The geographically distributed information system providing operational data exchange between the central office and retail chain stores and also franchasing shops of the company is created.
- 2. The analytical reports allowing to obtain complete, reliable and operational information about sales on all shops are implemented: running reports on sellers, reports on bonuses, etc.
- 3. The centralized control of existence of a remaining balance in shops is set, reflection in an information system of all processes of movement of goods between shops is provided.
- 4. The procedure of pricing is centralized.
Project deliverable – the automated system allowing to keep in uniform information base management accounting of a trading and warehouse activity, accounting of purchases and sales of head office and 90 own shops and also providing information exchange between the central office and 80 shops franchisee is created.
According to Dmitry Voytovich, the director of information technology of JSC InCity, the single geographically distributed information system allows to control work of all network and provides its development further.
