An ecosystem of electric mobility was launched in Nizhny Novgorod. Rusnano reported this on January 31, 2023.

The presentation was attended by the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Gleb Nikitin and Alexey Tikhonov, General Director of the key partner, Electromovement Operator.

The goal of the project is to build a holistic ecosystem of necessary elements, including a network of charging stations, a set of measures to increase the availability of vehicles and service.

As of January 2023, the ecosystem includes 44 charging stations and 180 electric vehicles (another 70 will be delivered by March 2023).

The volume of investments in the Nizhny Novgorod region amounted to 750 million rubles (100 million rubles - state financing, the rest - private capital).

The project was implemented in accordance with the agreements signed between the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and LLC "Electromobile Operator" under the CIPR 2022, in addition to the agreement signed by the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and LLC "Electromobile Operator."

The creation of the ecosystem has become a good example of public-private partnership and part of the implementation of the concept for the development of production and use of electric automobile transport RUSSIAN FEDERATION energy for the period up to 2030, which is aimed at solving the problems of improving the quality of life of people, creating new industries for the transition to a platform better than ICE, as well as reducing. emissions SO2

In the future, the experience of Nizhny Novgorod, based on the synchronization of the development of the charging infrastructure and the increase in the fleet of electric vehicles, will be scaled up to other regions. The team of the Electromobile Operator has already begun work in this direction - the next projects will be implemented in 2023.

We rely on sustainable development, despite all the twists and turns, including in foreign markets, and continue to develop electric transport. We participate in regional support programs that involve subsidies from the federal budget for the construction of charging infrastructure and the purchase of electric vehicles through the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. These cars are just a discount, and quite tangible. - noted Gleb Nikitin.

We launched an electric propulsion project in a comprehensive manner: we built 44 EZS and secured a deal to buy 180 localized electric cars by the end of 2022. We managed to do all this in a short time - in six months. In fact, for this time , a working prototype industries of electric mobility was built in Nizhny Novgorod. The beginning of the second stage of the development of electric transport

The second stage of the investment program for the development of electric transport and charging infrastructure has started in Nizhny Novgorod. This was announced on December 1, 2022 by Rusnano.

The corresponding document was signed by the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Gleb Nikitin and the General Director of Electromovement Operator LLC Alexei Tikhonov on June 3, 2022.

At the first stage of the program, the creation of a network of fast charging stations was launched in the region. By the end of 2022, it will be possible to use the services for fast charging of the electric car. The next stage of the program involves the launch of projects to transfer public and commercial fleets to electric vehicles.

The tasks of the "Electromovement Operator" include the operation and maintenance of the network of charging stations, the expansion of the network taking into account the needs of city residents and the formation of traffic flows, work with end users to transfer their fleets to electric transport.

Within the framework of the Concept for the development of the production and use of electric road transport in the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030, approved by order of the Government of August 23, 2021 No. 2290-r, the task was set to create the necessary engineering and transport infrastructure on the territory of Russia, including the development of a network of electric charging stations throughout the country, as well as stimulating the demand for electric transport from end users.

"Electromobile Operator" acts as an integrator of complex projects to increase the share of passenger electric vehicles in Russia. In particular, together with the regional authorities, the best locations are being worked out to accommodate the charging infrastructure and solutions for the modernization of the transport system in the interests of residents.
