The government of the Nizhny Novgorod region is the permanent supreme executive body of state power of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The government of the Nizhny Novgorod region is authorized to solve all issues of public administration of the socio-economic development of the region. The government is headed by the highest official of the region - the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the Chairman of the Government. The government is a collegial body that heads the system of executive authorities of the region.

Investments

2016: Investment in healthcare of the Nizhny Novgorod region for 150 million rubles

The Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region approved at the beginning of 2017 the construction of two medical centers, which will be organized on the principle of public-private partnership in 2017^[1].

It was decided to build one of the centers in the regional center itself, at 2 Reshetnikovskaya Street. The room and equipment of resonance imaging will be used there. It is important that the investment is provided in the amount of over 150 million rubles. The reconstruction period of the facility is 6 months.

The second subject of the government decision will be the Center for Cardiovascular Surgery. It will be located in the Arzamas urban district. The premises and equipment are provided by the regional government from the composition of state ownership.

The center will provide such types of services in the population, such as angiographic studies of coronary, brain and peripheral arteries, cardiovascular diseases and coronary artery bypass grafting.

It is noteworthy that in the Nizhny Novgorod region today there are already more than 10 hemodialysis centers created on the basis of public-private partnership, which once again confirms the reality of investments in medical projects. The implementation of the chosen form of financing shows that the economy of medical centers is quite capable of ensuring profitability. The participation of the investor and the budget is built in a strict proportion of 50% to 50%.

2020: Memorandum with Intel and NNSU on the development of technological potential of the Nizhny Novgorod region

On March 5, 2020, it became known that the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Gleb Nikitin, Vice President of Intel Corporation Bill Sevidzh and Acting Rector of the National Research Nizhny Novgorod State University named after N.I.
