The administration of the Kstovsky municipal district of the Nizhny Novgorod region is the executive and administrative body of the Kstovsky municipal district of the Nizhny Novgorod region, endowed with the authority to resolve issues of local importance of the municipal district, as well as the authority to exercise certain state powers transferred to local governments by federal laws and laws of the Nizhny Novgorod region.
History
2021: Transformation into the Kstovo municipal district of the Nizhny Novgorod region
In accordance with the Law of the Nizhny Novgorod Region dated December 10, 2021 No. 137-Z "On the Transformation of Municipalities of the Kstovsky Municipal District of the Nizhny Novgorod Region" municipalities - urban settlement of the city of Kstovo, rural settlements of the Afoninsky village council, Anhydravninsky village council, Blizhneborisovsky village council, Bolsheelninsky village council, Bolshemokrinsky village council, Zaprudnovsky village council, Novolikeevsky village council, Prokoshevsky Village Council, Rabotkinsky Village Council, Roykinsky Village Council, Slobodsky Village Council, Chernukhinsky Village Council, Chernyshikhinsky village council of the Kstovsky municipal district of the Nizhny Novgorod region was transformed by combining them into a newly formed municipality with the consent of the population, expressed by the representative bodies of the settlements and Kstovsky municipal district of the Nizhny Novgorod region with the granting of the newly formed municipality the status of a municipal district with the name - Kstovsky municipal district of the Nizhny Novgorod region.
2013
Kstovsky municipal district is one of the large highly developed industrial territories of the Nizhny Novgorod region. According to 2013 data, the territory of the Kstovsky municipal district includes urban settlements of the city of Kstovo and 14 rural settlements, including 119 rural settlements.
