2022: Announcement of the remote industrial safety control system based on PhoenixDS

The remote control system industrial safety (SDKPB) operates on the basis of the PhoenixDS platform with the use neural networks of, allows to reduce the number of violations of the technological regime standards by 2 times and predict the likelihood of industrial safety incidents with an accuracy of 98%. The solution can be deployed as a module of the operational production control system (), MES which performs the functions of monitoring high-risk objects to predict safety events. This was announced CROC by the company on December 1, 2022.

The ISRCS classifies safety events according to hazard levels, identifies deviations, allows you to quickly assess the risks of incidents and at the earliest stage prevent their development at hazardous facilities (hazardous facilities). This approach ensures a higher level of industrial safety. In addition, the system allows you to automatically transfer anonymized information about the status of the industrial safety of the facility to the Automated Information System of Rostekhnadzor.

The IPPC safety assessment is based on an analytical model for risk management of events of different levels based on statistics of events that have already occurred. It allows you to both generate indicators at the current time, and identify the causes of violations, determine the relationship with other events, and predict the consequences of the occurrence. According to the experience of implementing the ISRCS at one large oil and gas enterprise, immediately after implementation, the accuracy of forecasts was 70%, and after a year of operation and the stage of further training, the level of reliability of the forecast increased to 98%. In addition, the system adapts flexibly to different types of production.

The transition from a strict compliance control model to a proactive risk management model is one of the key approaches that oil and gas companies are adopting at their enterprises. The efforts of companies should be aimed at ensuring business sustainability, while the elimination of the consequences of incidents and accidents threatens unplanned production downtime. The decision of the SDKPB significantly reduces the number of violations of the technological regime and is already actively used at large oil and gas and chemical enterprises.
said Anton Gavrilenko, director branch of solutions at the oil and gas company chemical industry IT CROC.

The level of risks in the field of industrial safety is one of the factors affecting the performance indicators of production. Due to the early response to emerging problems, the number of incidents, unscheduled stops at production facilities is significantly reduced. The main umbrella tool that enterprises use to optimize a wide range of processes (from production dispatching to planning, etc.) is production management systems, or MES (Manufacturing Execution System). This class of solutions is designed for coordination, analysis and rational use of resources. For example, based on data on the overall efficiency of equipment, decisions are made to upgrade the technological fleet of the enterprise.

Traditionally, the MES system and the SDKPB are deployed as two independent solutions. However, in fact, they aggregate and process the same data from production systems of the PCS class, arriving in real time. Therefore, the IPPC can be considered as a module of the MES system, providing the solution of a specific task for monitoring and analyzing industrial safety events. This approach makes it possible to implement WBS in production faster, and also does not complicate the IT landscape of the enterprise, since in fact only the information processing module is connected, and not the entire remote control system of the PB from scratch (data collection and transmission is carried out within the framework of the MES system). The inclusion of MES as a module also reduces the burden on production systems by eliminating duplication of data collection functionality.

It is important that there are mature domestic solutions on the market designed to implement MES systems and SDKPB. This is a significant factor for oil and gas companies when making a decision regarding the migration of critical production systems to domestic software.
