iFlightDoc.Pilot is a mobile application designed for airline crews who implement and use EFB technologies on their aircraft - an electronic onboard portfolio. EFB technology allows you to store and display all the necessary documentation in electronic form:
- Flight plan.
- Mission for flight.
- Flight information bulletin.
- Meteobullet.
- Weather maps.
In the past, these functions were traditionally performed using paper documentation on board the aircraft. All documentation can take a suitcase, and the weight can reach 30 kilograms. Such a pile of papers creates inconvenience for the crew and affects the efficiency of employees.
In addition to the convenient format that fits into the tablet, the iFlightDoc.Pilot system allows you to reduce the load during flight, receive documentation anywhere in the world and reduce the time to fill out reports. With the help of the system, pilots can first familiarize themselves with the flight documentation, upload an electronic package of documents to the mobile application at a briefing. For the airline, the system opens up the possibilities of prompt data processing, reliable storage of information and saving consumables.
iFlightDoc.Pilot for December 2022 includes an electronic database, as well as mobile applications for the crew, an administration module, and a post-flight information processing module. During the flight, the application allows you to maintain a navigator log, enter information into an electronic flight mission, and generate reporting documentation. The system is fully integrated with other developments of RIVC-Pulkovo: AC OpenSky, Crew, COMPAS, which ensures the minimization of paper document flow in the airline.
Among the advantages are the presence of auxiliary utilities: an engineering calculator, calculation of sunrise and sunset, reconciliation of routes. The ability to work in online and offline modes, as well as attach photos of documents for subsequent use when processing flight missions.
