2022: Creation of aircraft flight map - RIVC Radar

RIVC-Pulkovo on October 18, 2022 announced the implementation of the aircraft flight map - RIVC'Radar. The module was released as part of the OpenSky flight planning and control system.

Starting from March 2022, many foreign suppliers of IT solutions in civil aviation have actually ceased cooperation with Russian airlines. As part of the strategy of digital independence and the prevention of malfunctioning situations, RIVC-Pulkovo decided to develop a RIVC'Radar flight map.

The module is a virtual map, where the actual and calculated trajectories of the aircraft are displayed, a quick search on flights is implemented, and the flight card displays the current flight data: speed, altitude, track angle.

Users have the ability to track the aircraft on the screen (movement of the map area along with the aircraft), zoom at departure airports, arrival and calculated flight points. A switch to a specific in-flight flight from OpenSky/Ops is also available. Additionally, you can filter by Airlines and Airports. Since the RIVC'Radar flight map is developed using web technology, it can be used in any other web application of the company.
