2022: Seamless Wi-Fi coverage at the updated metropolitan station "Meshcherskaya"

The federal telecom operator and digital service provider TransTeleCom has organized a seamless network of public wireless Internet access at the Meshcherskaya station in Moscow. TransTeleCom announced this on December 13, 2022.

At the end of November 2022, after a two-year reconstruction, the Meshcherskaya station of the Kyiv direction of the Moscow Railway was opened, which in the future will be part of the fourth Moscow central diameter (MCD-4). The total area of the station after renewal is about six thousand square meters.

On the territory of the station, TransTeleCom specialists created a single Wi-Fi space, where users, having logged in to the network once, receive continuous access to high-speed Internet when moving between different network zones.

Network equipment is equipped with specialized communication modules with the controller, which creates a seamless continuous environment for signal transmission. Thanks to this technological solution, it provides convenience for the passenger and the ability to move around the lobbies and station platforms, while maintaining stable communication quality and high data transfer rate.

Earlier, a similar decision was implemented by TransTeleCom specialists at the Vostochny railway station in the capital, the Aeroexpress terminal in Sheremetyevo and at several other transport hubs in the capital.
