Connection of 7 MCD stations to Wi-Fi

Digital services provider TransTeleCom provided wireless Internet access at Aminyevskaya, Kokoshkino and Aprelevka stations of the fourth Moscow central diameter on November 27, 2024 .
The service is implemented in a seamless format, thanks to which it is enough for the passenger to connect once, and in the future, when moving between different zones of stations and across platforms, communication will not be interrupted.
TransTeleCom actively participates in a project to develop public Internet at railway facilities. A single Wi-Fi space appears not only at the stations of the recently opened MTsD-4, but also at an increasing number of railway stations and stations in different regions of Russia. The service is in great demand, as evidenced by a stable increase in traffic consumption statistics.

2022: Seamless Wi-Fi coverage at the updated metropolitan station "Meshcherskaya"
The federal telecom operator and digital service provider TransTeleCom has organized a seamless network of public wireless Internet access at the Meshcherskaya station in Moscow. TransTeleCom announced this on December 13, 2022.
At the end of November 2022, after a two-year reconstruction, the Meshcherskaya station of the Kyiv direction of the Moscow Railway was opened, which in the future will be part of the fourth Moscow central diameter (MCD-4). The total area of the station after renewal is about six thousand square meters.
On the territory of the station, TransTeleCom specialists created a single Wi-Fi space, where users, having logged in to the network once, receive continuous access to high-speed Internet when moving between different network zones.
Network equipment is equipped with specialized communication modules with the controller, which creates a seamless continuous environment for signal transmission. Thanks to this technological solution, it provides convenience for the passenger and the ability to move around the lobbies and station platforms, while maintaining stable communication quality and high data transfer rate.
Earlier, a similar decision was implemented by TransTeleCom specialists at the Vostochny railway station in the capital, the Aeroexpress terminal in Sheremetyevo and at several other transport hubs in the capital.
