2022: Creating a Digital Twin of the Process Analytics-Based Procurement Process
PJSC MMK reported on the completion of the project to create a digital twin and simulate the procurement process based on process analytics. The main goals of the implementation were to increase the efficiency of the use of stocks in warehouses, reduce the duration of the supply cycle and labor costs for securing applications. The implementation project started in January 2022, but within the framework of the aggravated foreign policy situation, it was decided to search for Russian alternatives to the initial choice of software. This was announced on December 16, 2022 by Infomaximum.
IT suppliers of the project were Innodata LLC, CTR Next LLC. The system of active business analytics Proceset from the domestic developer - the company "Infomaximum" - was used to analyze business processes of procurement and sighting of contractual documents. As a result, the implementation of the system made it possible:
- create a "digital twin" of the specified processes;
- identify bottlenecks and localize causes of temporary and financial losses;
- stabilize and curtail the procurement cycle, thereby reducing insurance stocks and stock balances;
- provide MMK PJSC with complete, reliable and up-to-date information on process metrics and variations in its progress;
- Improve the quality of management decisions by automatically predicting unwanted scenarios
- identify deviations in process execution scenarios and promptly resolve emerging non-standard incidents.
The most difficult thing turned out to be "on the fly" to replace the introduced product with a domestic one with practically no loss of time and absolutely without losing the quality of achieving the business effects of the project, "said Vadim Feoktistov, chief information technology specialist at PJSC MMK. |
MMK's ambitions and aspirations coincide with the mission of our company - we help our clients become more efficient and know exactly how difficult IT products are to implement in corporations, "said Alexander Bochkin, CEO of Infomaximum. |
