2022: Creation of IT and telecom infrastructure

OBIT announced on December 26, 2022 that it had provided IT and telecommunications infrastructure for food mall in EuropeVokzal 1853.

The company's specialists designed and installed the optical network of the new facility, as well as took over its maintenance and technical support.

A restaurant cluster with an area of 34,000 m2 and a capacity of up to 4,000 people was opened in the historic building of the Warsaw Station. OBIT, an IT partner, organized an infrastructure that will allow it to receive high-quality communication services from the management company and all 90 food mall establishments.

The peculiarity of the project was that all work - from design to installation - had to be carried out during the repair and decoration of the premises of the object, so as not to disrupt the design of the interiors after the opening of Vokzal 1853 to visitors. It was necessary to take into account all the structural and technological features of the building, as well as the specifics of its purpose and historical value.

Based on the site survey, working documentation was prepared and optimal solutions for the creation of a structured cable system were proposed. All installation work was carried out in close cooperation with engineering services and contractors of the management company.

OBIT also took over the functions of the economic operator of the facility, which involves servicing the telecom infrastructure and providing a full range of communication services to existing and future tenants.

We are very happy to be involved in the launch of such an impressive project, "said Mikhail Telegin, head of the commercial department of OBIT. - Work on a historical site is always a challenge and a great responsibility that requires a sensitive approach to cultural heritage, and if it is a point of mass attraction, then a large portfolio of competencies that guarantees the fulfillment of technical requirements for infrastructure. According to our partner, our advantage was the experience in implementing complex projects of a similar profile and the willingness to meet halfway in the most non-standard situations.
