The Optima company put the automated process control system (APCS) of substation (PS) of 330 kV Cherkessk in commercial operation.
According to Optima, it is one of the first projects executed in full within the "Reliability Augmentation and Observabilities of the Russian Federation Power Pool System" program. During its implementation the methodology of creation and technology of implementing solutions, conforming to all requirements for an APCS of FGC UES was ground. "This experience is already successfully used by us on similar projects – on substations of 500 kV Crimean and Central", – Samsonov Alexey, the CEO of Optima engineering reported.
"Before management of PS of 330 kV Cherkessk did not conform to modern requirements, – the chief specialist of service of implementation of investment projects TsIUS of the South Zagorulko Alexander told. – There was no monitoring system and diagnostics of the transformer equipment, 'visualization of course' of technology processes and a possibility of control of parameters (levels – U, I and overflows of power)".
Having performed all complex of works – from preparation of the work documentation before balancing and commissioning – and having successfully carried out trial operation, specialists of Optima put in commercial operation an APCS, a monitoring system and diagnostics of the transformer equipment (SMID TO) and also the digital radio relay communication line (RRL).
In general project completion in full provided: increase in observability of parameters of the mode and condition of equipment of PS and the adjacent electric network in normal and emergency operation in terms of solving of tasks of personnel of PS, services and MES branches of the South (including Command center networks – Head CCN of MES of the South and the Stavropol PMES); increase in effective management of substation for the purpose of maintaining the set mode, failure prevention of the equipment, localization and elimination of effects of hardware failures and preserving of survivability of substation; increase in efficiency and comfort of work of operation and service staff.
