In January 2023, Rostec United Engine Corporation will launch a project to switch to a domestic production management platform. The total cost of the project is estimated at 1.025 billion rubles. The company will receive most of this amount - 764 million rubles - in the form of grant financing: according to the results of the competitive selection, UEC won a grant from the Russian Information Technology Development Fund (RFRIT) for the revision and implementation of domestic software in the production management system. The project is being implemented at the initiative of the Government of the Russian Federation and is aimed at achieving technological independence in the field of industrial software. According to the instructions of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, the Industrial Competence Center (ICC) "Engine Building" was created on the basis of the UEC. The center is a backbone institute for the development of the IT industry, its task is to ensure the technological independence of the engine industry in the field of IT.

The project provides for the transition of the corporation to an IT solution on the 1C: Cooperation Management platform. With the funds received, UEC plans to create a system on the basis of "1S:UK" for joint planning and production management at the enterprise level, as well as a management company, taking into account industry requirements.

1C: Cooperation Management is a completely domestic solution for joint planning and production management at the level of an engineering enterprise and a management company. According to the developers, the functionality of "1S:UK" is wider than foreign analogues - primarily within the framework of cooperation of production activities.

According to Alexey Kislov, head of the ERP practice development group at 1C, the solution was developed with a fully open source configuration code on the widely used 1C: Enterprise platform. The platform does not impose restrictions on the order of application of the system within the information landscapes of various enterprises. When designing an architecture, the possibilities of a phased start of the system are laid. Specialized objects are used - resource specifications that reduce the level of initial requirements for a common set of source data.

The project of the United Engine Corporation is included in the list of especially significant and included in the roadmap "New Industrial Software." Financing is carried out within the framework of the federal project "Digital Technologies" of the national program "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation" from the funds of the RFRIT grant, which is part of the group of the state development corporation "ВЭБ.РФ."
