2023: Transfer to the ownership of Igor Rybakov for 1.8 billion rubles

At the end of January 2023, it became known about the sale of the Brooks School Moscow educational complex to Russian billionaire Igor Rybakov. The transaction cost is 1.8 billion rubles.

According to Vedomosti, Rybakov buys this school for Rybakov Foundation, whose portfolio already includes similar projects - a university and a school.

The educational center in Botanica near the Botanical Garden metro station in Moscow is designed for about 800 people (in addition to the school there is a nursery and a kindergarten), it opened in 2018. The institution was managed by the Brooks Education Group network, which operates under the International Baccalaureate program. Her institutions are in Britain, Canada and South Korea. The cost of visiting a kindergarten for a full day by January 2023 is 1.41 million rubles a year, and schools - 2.15-2.75 million rubles. The total area of ​ ​ the center is 18,358 square meters. m, it also includes two swimming pools, a football court on the roof, a library and 2 hectares of adjacent territory with gaming complexes.

The website of the complex says that the teaching staff consists exclusively of highly qualified specialists with academic degrees and rich work experience. The advantage is the presence of special exchange programs - if you wish, you can visit campuses in Britain, Canada, the USA, India, South Korea for educational and informational purposes.

As analysts noted to the publication, in the current economic situation, the project may face difficulties: the demand for such educational services is likely to decline, since many wealthy residents of Moscow have left the country or are revising their plans for teaching children in Russia.^[1]
