2023: Transfer to the ownership of the Russian company O3-Chemicals LLC

The Russian group "O3" acquired the Finnish manufacturer of professional hygiene KiiltoClean, which became known at the end of January 2023. It is assumed that this transaction will allow the buyer to significantly increase the range of detergents and disinfectants and significantly increase the market share occupied by the company in this segment.

According to Kommersant, 100% of KiiltoKlin LLC was bought by O3-Chemicals LLC, which is part of the O3 group. Daria Dybal, who previously worked at the BASF chemical concern, has been appointed CEO of the new company. In O3, she went from development manager to director of research, the press service of the group said.

It is noted that products under the Kiilto, Kiilto Pro and Erisan brand will be available on the Russian market during the transition period, and until June 30, 2023, the legal name of KiiltoKlin will change. According to the terms of the transaction, all technologies and intellectual property are transferred to the new owner.

Kiilto is a trademark with a history and strong European traditions, O3 is a young and innovative Russian production company, says Grigory Shifrin, CEO of O3. - We set a course for intensive development and acquisition of KiiltoClean in line with our strategy for development of the professional chemistry segment in the O3 product line.

Managing Director of Kiilto Arto Raivio, in turn, noted that within the framework of this transaction, all employees of KiiltoKlin LLC will maintain labor relations with O3.

O3 is a developer and large manufacturer of industrial paints and varnishes for the construction and safe operation of industrial and infrastructure facilities with their own production in the Rostov region.^[1]
