2023: Launch of video monitoring of emissions of industrial enterprises in three districts of Chelyabinsk

PJSC MTS"" February 1, 2023 announced the launch of a video control system emissions industrial for enterprises. The intelligent solution video surveillances conducts round-the-clock control over production sites, analyzing emissions and external indicators. gases A pilot system has been deployed for Center for Environmental Monitoring of the Chelyabinsk Region in three districts. Chelyabinsk

The MTS intelligent video surveillance system includes more than ten Full HD digital IP cameras installed along the perimeters of several production enterprises at high points with a wide view of industrial zones in the Metallurgical, Traktorozavodsky and Kalininsky districts of Chelyabinsk, some of the cameras are additionally equipped with thermal imaging modules. This makes it possible to monitor the fact of contamination of production sites around the clock, including in conditions of poor visibility, to identify the work of illegal enterprises and promptly respond if necessary. Camera recordings and event information are stored in the video archive for further analysis.

The MTS ecosystem includes a set of digital solutions that improve security and improve eco-exchange in the regions of the country. In addition to the video emission control system, which we plan to expand in Chelyabinsk, we can deploy mobile air quality analysis stations that continuously monitor the presence of emissions and pollutants. Such a tool allows online to detect the presence of harmful impurities and their volume in the air, and remotely transmit this information to take the necessary measures, "said Oleg Aldoshin, Vice President for Corporate and New Business Development at MTS.

We continue to develop a territorial network for monitoring atmospheric air in the Chelyabinsk region, including using the MTS visual monitoring system. Some cameras have an infrared spectrum and allow you to observe in any weather and at any time of the day and, accordingly, in the range that is not visible during normal viewing. This helps in the orientation of mobile laboratories, as well as the work of regional supervision bodies in identifying unauthorized sources of emissions and taking appropriate measures. We expect that in connection with the introduction of an additional system, the efficiency of supervision will increase, because in fact there is an overview of the situation with high-altitude points for all emission sources, "said Vladislav Korobkin, head of the Center for Environmental Monitoring of the Chelyabinsk Region.
