According to the company, A50 is a ceiling array of microphones consisting of 91 elements. It forms up to 12 audio beams and can be used for local conferences or events with remote participation in classrooms and conference rooms of different architectures and layouts.

The capture radius of one A50 device is 8 m. However, it can be used to provide optimal audio communication in rooms of any scale. Daisy-Chain technology allows you to combine up to eight A50 devices into one system. connecting them in series using Ethernet cables. This makes it possible to use A50 in large meeting rooms and conference rooms with different locations of the meeting participants.

The ceiling array is A50 supported by the AMKh100 Digital Signal Processor (DSP). It uses its own technologies from PROXIMITY and has extensive integration capabilities. So, the AMKh100 allows you to connect speakers through the Phoenix Connector. In addition, the processor is equipped with a line input and 3.5 mm output, has RJ-45 ports for connecting the control panel and microphone, and is able to interact with other devices when via USB-A and USB-B ports.

Interaction with DSP AMKh100 provides the microphone array with A50 additional functionality: background and parasitic noise suppression, smart reverb and echo suppression, two-way audio communication, automatic sound level control, adaptive trapping beam switching.

The DSP also provides power to microphone arrays. To do this, POE (Power over Ethernet) technology is used, which allows you to optimize the installation of devices and their connection to the mains. The package includes special ceiling fasteners. Additionally, you can purchase VESA brackets.

A50 will be the flagship of the PROXIMITY line of microphone arrays. In 2023, it is planned to produce a A40, a budget device of a similar purpose, which will allow customers to equip meeting rooms and conference rooms with modern by means of communications. The A50 and A40 microphones will be available in two colours - black and white.
