2023: Developing a Solution

Sitronics Group on February 15, 2023 announced that it had developed a solution for instant document recognition. The hardware and software complex is a "smart" scanner with specially written software with elements of artificial intelligence, which reads data from the main civil documents of the established sample and automatically converts them into electronic form.

Sitronics Group has presented a sample development for the banking, insurance and transport sectors. The digital recognition complex automates the entry of these documents into the information systems of the enterprise, speeding up the customer service process by three times.

The complex consists of a terminal for scanning and reading documents and specially written software for data recognition. The technology recognizes typewritten text, "reads" data from the microcircuit if it is present in the document - photo, fingerprints, electronic signature of the form. The smart scanner recognizes the passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation, passport, SNILS, compulsory medical insurance policy of the last sample.

The "smart" scanner is applicable in many areas where the procedure for documenting identity is necessary. This applies to passenger transportation, banking and insurance services and other client services.

The document scanner eliminates the human factor when entering document data into electronic databases due to the complete refusal of manual human input. The technology recognizes the entire set of printed characters found in these documents, recognizes fields. The data translated into digital format is classified by the machine and entered into the necessary sections, verified and verified there. This speeds up the process of working with client data up to seconds, "said Alexander Trokhin, vice president for information and communication hardware solutions.
