The company of the ex-head of the Ministry of Agriculture bought a large Kamchatka fish miner for billions of rubles

Which legal entity bought a stake in Vityaz Car not specified. By February 16, 2023, according to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Vityaz Car 's capital is divided by equal shares between four co-owners: former deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Kamchatka Territory Igor Redkin, his wife, as well as co-owner of the Okeanrybflot fishing enterprise Igor Yevtushk and the wife of Senator from Kamchatka Territory Valery Ponomarev Ekaterina.

According to RBC sources, it was the shares of the Redkin spouses that became the subject of the transaction. In August 2022, ex-deputy Igor Redkin was convicted of unintentional murder and sentenced to nine months in prison. Redkin, one of the wealthiest former officials, in Russia 2021 ranked 20th in the ranking of incomes of Russian civil servants Forbes with an income of 715.7 million rubles.

The publication reminds that in the Far East, the Mantera Group company, created by businessman Roman Batalov, who is called Tkachev's son-in-law, is actively developing projects.

Vityaz Car became the second fish asset for the structures associated with Tkachev: in 2021, the Yug-Businesspartner company affiliated with Batalov acquired the Adler trout breeding plant (the company grows trout, Black Sea salmon and sturgeon) at the auction[1]
