On September 21, 2010 Trend Micro Incorporated submitted the new software for protection of computers - Trend Micro Titanium Security 2011.

Titanium 2011 uses the system of protection which combines cloud reputation services of web resources, e-mail and files with SmartScan technology, providing appropriate level of protection against modern complex threats. The new family from four products includes Titanium™ Antivirus+, Titanium™ for Netbooks, Titanium™ Internet Security and Titanium™ Maximum Security.

Thanks to the fact that the most part of the new application works directly on the Trend Micro servers the Titanium 2011 system is capable to stop a malicious code before its penetration into a home network of the user. The architecture of Trend Micro Titanium 2011 which is partially using cloud resources allows to lower load of the processor, RAM and storage system and to increase computer capacity. It is software it is specially created proactively to stop the malicious code coming from worldwide network.

For ensuring instant protection directly from the Internet cloud, Trend Micro Titanium uses the system of scanning SmartScan.
