2023: Standardization of the format of transmission of information models of power grid facilities
The combined team of specialists of the electric grid company PJSC Rosseti, NTC FGC UES and the Russian vendor SiSoft Development implemented a project to develop tools to support the capital construction facility at all stages of the life cycle. This was announced on February 21, 2023 by CSoft.
Within the framework of the project, experts from Rosseti, STC FGC UES and SiSoft Development carried out work to standardize the format for transferring information models of objects of the electric grid complex of PJSC Rosseti (in terms of overhead lines).
According to SiSoft Development, the results of the work are colossal. The structure and hierarchy of elements of the overhead line information model (overhead line CIM) were described, including in the format of a vendor-independent XML schema for the entire overhead line life cycle. Developed and integrated into the specialized software and hardware complex "EK OL" of PJSC "Rosseti" software module for formation and maintenance of CIM OL. Practical testing of the export/import of CIM overhead lines in the developed format from the design to the operating organization was carried out, which in the future will reduce operating costs by 9-15% and reduce the time for making technical decisions during emergency recovery work by 20-35%.
According to experts, the application of developed corporate standards at the national level will ensure seamless interaction between design and operating organizations of PJSC Rosseti, as well as other balance holders of overhead power lines. Further work will allow until 2030 to create a unified database of information models operated by PJSC Rosseti as part of the development of the Concept "Digital Transformation 2030."
{{quote 'The particular importance of the work is that not only is a data flow management tool created that is convenient for the main consumer - power grid organizations, but also that the leading organization in the field of electric power industry develops rules and formats of communication for the entire industry of transmission and distribution of electric energy. This is direct, albeit to the development of domestic rules for external interoperability of information models that meet the requirements of Russian legislation and national technical regulation, - said Igor Orelyana Ursua, executive and technical director of SiSoft Development JSC. }}
We faced a strategically important task at the federal level - to create information models that are as close as possible to the functionality of real information modeling objects, as well as to develop a unified format for transferring data from the design organization to operation. We managed to demonstrate the advantages of the model and its capabilities, - said Mikhail Bocharov, consultant in the development of information modeling technologies of the competition, executive director of SiSoft Development JSC. |
It is important for us to concentrate the data on the design of overhead transmission lines (hereinafter referred to as overhead lines) in operation into a single information unit with the subsequent implementation of support for the processes of overhead lines operation and ensuring the solution of applied problems that arise before the specialists of the line services of operating organizations. Such a module that improves the quality and reliability of technical decisions made can be considered a breakthrough in modern education and science, as well as in the energy sector of Russia. Together with SiSoft Development JSC, we developed such an object (digital information model of overhead lines), and its testing showed that it is accurate and fully complies with all the goals and objectives set. Now it's a matter of practically expanding the field of application of this decision, and we will continue joint developments, - commented in PJSC Rosseti. |
