2025: Enhanced system customization capabilities with LCNC approach
On May 22, 2025, BFT-Holding announced the release of an updated version of the BFT.ENI software product. The system received important architectural and functional improvements in accordance with current user requirements.
BFT.ENI is one of the flagship products of the MDM (Master Data Management) BFT-Holding class, which is designed for maintaining and managing master data and regulatory reference information (NSI).
MDM solutions have already become an integral part of the IT architecture of modern companies and help to form a single NSI base based on data from many information systems and effectively build end-to-end business processes, establish interaction between departments and form high-quality reporting. To successfully fulfill such tasks, the functionality of the BFT.ENI system of BFT-Holding is regularly developed, in May 2025 the system received an update with important improvements and capabilities.
Key Architectural Changes and Customization Opportunities (LCNC)
- The system has undergone a number of significant architectural changes in terms of switching to the new version of the low-code platform BFT.Platform, "on the basis of which BFT.ENI was developed, and switching to a service-oriented architecture with the ability to connect external services.
- In the updated version, the possibilities of customizing the system using the LCNC approach have been expanded. Now you can customize the displayed and printed forms of records, define the displayed forms for individual recording statuses and user roles, and add custom data actions to forms. Enhanced search and filtering capabilities when working with NSI object records, including for hierarchical reference books. The configuration of access to data and actions on data using access segments is implemented.
Managing the Data Model and Data Changes
- In the set of functions for managing the BFT.ENI data model, special objects have appeared for managing master data with support for versioning structures and data. The possibility of maintaining hierarchical complex classifiers - NSI objects with a hierarchical structure and different attribute composition of records, as well as setting up class templates and properties of class attributes was added. On the basis of complex classifiers, configurations for maintaining M&E directories, nomenclature, products, services have been developed.
- To support the life cycle of records of NSI objects, the functionality of the Change Request has been redesigned. The new functionality allows you to coordinate changes in the records of several NSI objects at once.
- The functionality of visual design has appeared in the BPMN notation of business processes and their execution for working with data, as well as the ability to replace performers when performing business process tasks.
Integration, Alerts and User Experience
- The user experience with the system is improved by advanced options for customizing desktops (displaying tables, widgets, parameters and their layout, displaying system menu items taking into account various user roles).
- Enhanced the ability to monitor data events and configure notifications to users about changes in records assigned to tasks as part of business processes.
- Integration functionality has been expanded with fast API development and documentation, built-in customizable tools for interacting with the Kafka broker.
Working with big data and loading data from external sources
- A powerful ETL-based tool Apache Spark with visual configuration of the data pipeline with its own orchestrator for performing ETL-tasks and the ability to debug, monitor the execution of tasks for processing large amounts of data has appeared (). big data A set of predefined data operations is implemented.
- The functionality of loading and converting reference data and registries from external sources has also been redesigned.
Data Quality and Reference Records
- In addition, the new version has expanded the functionality of verification, standardization, enrichment, data consolidation and identity management. Users have new capabilities for visual design and execution of transformation, cleaning, enrichment and data consolidation scenarios.
- Extended functionality of automatic and manual generation of reference records using double search algorithms.
- The data quality check service has been upgraded, which allows you to configure the parameters for finding deviations in the data, perform quality control in manual or automatic mode with the formation of data quality incidents.
Hybrid technologies
- Also, within the framework of BFT.ENI, a cloud service has been created for providing data from external sources (all-Russian classifiers and other open data) to consumer information systems, which implements hybrid technology in MDM-class solutions for storing and using external data.
| Business data is a valuable resource from which companies seek to make the most of. At the same time, only high-quality and structured data bring real efficiency, so the demand for automated solutions for master data management and NSI will continue to grow. "BFT.ENI" solves all the tasks of master data management and NSI that are relevant for business and the public sector, providing new opportunities and tools for working with data, "said Maxim Zatsepin, Director of the BFT Holding Data Management Systems Department. |
2023: BFT.ENSI - State-of-the-Art Master Data Management Solution
